One of my favorite things to have for breakfast is a keto smoothie.

What is the Keto Diet?
The keto diet is a low-carb diet. The goal is to get your body to use fat as its energy source instead of carbs (called ketosis). People on the keto diet follow different guidelines for how many carbs they can consume.
Tools to Make a Keto Smoothie
The only tool you need for most keto smoothies is a blender. There are a million different blenders on the market (at a thousand different price points).
If you can afford it, the Vitamix is widely considered to be the holy grail of blenders. If you can’t afford it, there are plenty of other reasonably priced options.
While I lust for a Vitamix, I have a Nutribullet and have zero complaints about it.
13 Nearly No-Carb Keto Smoothies (0-5g net carbs)
These 13 keto smoothies will kill your cravings and are all outrageously low in net carbs. There’s no point making keto smoothies that don’t taste good. Even at 5g of net carbs and under, these are still delicious.
The first keto smoothie (a Matcha Green Tea Keto Smoothie) comes in a ONE net carb per serving. The net carb counts increase as you scroll down the list. Most of the 13 keto smoothies here hover around 4g of net carbs.
I hope you enjoy one (or more) of these!
Matcha Green Tea Smoothie
Calories: 107
Carbs: 1g net (7g total, 6g fiber)
Ingredients: almond milk, chia seeds, matcha green tea powder, lemon juice, vanilla stevia drops, yogurt, glucomannon, ice
Matcha green tea has more benefits than regular green tea but also a stronger flavor. Mixed in a smoothie, it's a delicious and very nutritious option. Give it a try!
Vanilla Ice Cream KETO Coffee Smoothie
Calories: 344
Carbs: 2g net (7g total, 5g fiber)
Ingredients: coffee, vanilla almond milk, MCT oil, chia seeds, heavy whipping cream, vanilla extract, stevia
I love coffee. I once made a resolution to reduce my coffee intake to only 2 pots a day (POTS, not cups). I succeeded but it didn't last. So anything with coffee added is something I'll try. Get your caffeine kick in this coffee smoothie.
McKeto Strawberry Milkshake
Calories: 368
Carbs: 2.42g net (3.7g total, 1.28g fiber)
Ingredients: coconut milk, heavy whipping cream, strawberry torani, MCT oil, xanthan gum, ice
This recipe only makes one serving, so you know your portion size will be correct. It's definitely more of a milkshake consistency than a smoothie consistency.
Low Carb Cucumber Green Tea Detox Smoothie
Calories: 69
Carbs: 3.4g net (6.8g total, 3.4g fiber)
Ingredients: water, matcha green tea powder, cucumber, avocado, lemon juice, lemon liquid stevia, ice
The matcha and cucumber are pretty dominant flavors in this smoothie. Definitely add more sweetener and/or lemon juice if you find it tastes too earthy for you.
Clean & Green Smoothie
Calories: 360
Carbs: 4g net (12g total, 8g fiber)
Ingredients: water, avocado, MCT oil, cucumber, dark leafy greens, dandelion, parsley, hemp seeds, lemon, turmeric powder
I take a turmeric supplement because I think it's great. However, when I can find a recipe that calls for turmeric, I'd rather eat real food. Enjoy this delicious (and uber-healthy) smoothie!
Blueberry Galaxy Smoothie
Calories: 215
Carbs: 4g net (7g total,3 g fiber)
Ingredients: coconut milk, blueberries, vanilla extract, MCT oil, protein powder (optional)
This is a pretty basic smoothie. It's blueberry. It's a great choice when you're really craving something with that typical berry taste.
Green Low Carb Breakfast Smoothie
Calories: 375
Carbs: 4g net
Ingredients: almond milk, spinach, cucumber, celery, avocado, coconut oil, liquid stevia, protein powder, chia seeds, matcha powder (optional)
Matcha can be a bit of an acquired taste. A great way to start is by adding it to smoothies where you won't really taste it!
Minty Green Protein Smoothie
Calories: 293
Carbs: 4g net (11g total, 7g fiber)
Ingredients: avocado, spinach, liquid stevia peppermint, protein powder, almond milk, peppermint extract, ice, cacao nibs (optional)
I love mint. Candy canes are my favorite thing about Christmastime (seriously). This smoothie is like a mint chocolate chip ice cream substitute.
Keto Blueberry Ginger Smoothie Recipe
Calories: 168
Carbs: 4g net (5g total, 1g fiber)
Ingredients: blueberries, coconut yogurt, coconut milk, ginger, apple, collagen powder, MCT oil, stevia
Ginger adds a twist to this blueberry smoothie. It's a nice change-up, without being scary different.
Low-Carb Mocha Smoothie Recipe
Calories: 176
Carbs: 4g net (10g total, 6g fiber)
Ingredients: coconut milk, almond milk, vanilla extract, granulated stevia, instant coffee crystals, cocoa powder, avocado
I don't believe in instant coffee. I grind my beans and make my coffee fresh to order. If you're like me, a shot of espresso (or very strongly brewed coffee) could be used instead although it does add additional liquid to the smoothie.
Keto Avocado Smoothie With Coconut Milk, Ginger, and Turmeric
Calories: 208
Carbs: 4g net (5g total, 1g fiber)
Ingredients: avocado, coconut milk, almond milk, ginger, turmeric, lime juice, ice, sweetener, black pepper
This is a very creamy smoothie that's high in antioxidants. It's delicious and savoury, especially if you use minimal sweetener.
Chocolate Avocado Raspberry Smoothie
Calories: 133
Carbs: 4.84g net (10.65g total, 5.81g fiber)
Ingredients: cashew milk, avocado, rasperries (frozen), cocoa powder, swerve sweetener, raspberry extract
This recipe calls for cashew milk, which is a nice change from the almond and coconut milk in most recipes. However, if you don't have cashew milk you can use almond and/or coconut milk.
Strawberry & Mint Keto Smoothie
Calories: 291
Carbs: 5g net (6g total, 1g fiber)
Ingredients: strawberries, cream cheese, mint leaves, whipping cream, coconut milk, stevia
This is a very refreshing smoothie. It's thick and creamy but doesn't leave you feeling weighed down.
13 Low-Carb Keto Smoothies (6-11g net carbs)
These 13 keto smoothies pack a bigger net carb punch than the ones above coming in between 6 and 11g of net carbs each.
They’re also in order from smallest to largest (by net carb count). If you’re looking for a real carb indulgence, try the last one (a Chai-Infused Pumpkin Keto Smoothie) which has 11.3g of net carbs.
Mint Coco Keto Smoothie
Calories: not stated
Carbs: 6g net
Ingredients: coconut milk, water, frozen cauliflower, avocado, collagen, vanilla extract, mint, cacao powder, coconut oil, cinnamon, sea salt, optional toppings
Frozen cauliflower is used in this smoothie as a low-carb filler.
Turmeric Keto Smoothie
Calories: 600

This smoothie gets all the yums. Super savory!
Low Carb Acai Almond Butter Smoothie
Calories: 345
Carbs: 6g net (8g total, 2g fiber)
Ingredients: acai puree, almond milk, avocado, collagen, coconut oil, almond butter, vanilla extract, liquid stevia
Acai is a great flavor addition to any smoothie. The extra-creaminess from the almond butter is spot on.
Keto Cinnamon Almond Butter Breakfast Shake
Calories: 326
Carbs: 6g net (11g total, 5g fiber)
Ingredients: nut milk, collagen, almond butter, golden flax meal, cinnamon, liquid stevia, almond extract, salt, ice
This recipe calls for any nut milk - go with almond to match up with the other ingredients OR shake things up with something different.
Peanut Butter and Jelly Smoothie
Calories: 140
Carbs: 6g net (11g total, 5g fiber)
Ingredients: frozen mixed berries, peanut butter powder, vanilla protein powder, almond milk
You can't have a PB & J sandwich on keto, but this smoothie is a decent replacement.
Fruit-Free, Low-Carb Smoothie
Calories: 391
Carbs: 6g net (14g total, 8g fiber)
Ingredients: almond milk, avocado, spinach, protein powder, cocoa powder, hemp seeds, MCT oil, liquid stevia, water, ice, cacao nibs (optional)
Avocado is a fruit, so this isn't really fruit-free but the idea is there.
Healthy Chocolate Peanut Butter Low Carb Smoothie
Calories: 435
Carbs: 6g net (10g total, 4g fiber)
Ingredients: peanut butter, cocoa powder, heavy cream, almond milk, powdered erythritol, sea salt
Chocolate and peanut butter and a match made in heaven. And this smoothie is a wonderful blend!
Frozen Keto Berry Shake
Calories: 400
Carbs: 6.7g net (10.6g total, 3.9g fiber)

Blueberry smoothies really are a classic. The coconut cream makes this one extra smooth and creamy.
Chocolate Covered Macadamia Creemie
Calories: 460
Carbs: 8g net (22g total, 14g fiber)
Ingredients: vanilla almond milk, macadamia nuts, MCT oil, coconut butter, chia seeds, cacao, collagen
Macadamia nuts are a unique smoothie addition. They blend nicely and taste great!
Keto Chocolate Berry Truffle Smoothie
Calories: 294
Carbs: 8g net (15g total, 7g fiber)
Ingredients: avocado, pecans, cocoa powder, stevia/erythritol blend, salt, vanilla extract, heavy whipping cream, water, frozen mixed berries, ice
This smoothie is very thick. It has a milkshake like texture (unless you drink it slowly enough to melt). It's really filling and a great meal replacement.
Paleo Key Lime Pie Smoothie
Calories: 340
Carbs: 9g net (17g total, 8g fiber)
Ingredients: coconut milk, cashews, lime juice, avocado, spinach, erythritol, coconut butter, chia seeds, collagen, vanilla extract, lime zest, liquid stevia
Key lime pie is just as good in smoothie form. It's even better if you use fresh key limes!
Chai-Infused Pumpkin Keto Smoothie
Calories: 726
Carbs: 11.3g net (19.5g total, 8.2g fiber)
Ingredients: coconut milk, pumpkin puree, MCT oil, loose chai tea, vanilla, pumpkin pie spice, avocado
Everyone loves some pumpkin spice and this smoothie is great. This is a rich, flavorful, creamy smoothie that any pumpkin spice lover will be a fan of.
You CAN Drink Keto Smoothies
There’s this strange idea that smoothies are off-limits on the keto diet. But they don’t have to be.
Make one (or more) of the above smoothies, and you’ll stay under your carb limits AND get to enjoy a delicious keto smoothie.
You’re welcome.
