Passionfruit is my favorite fruit. I love it. LOVE it.
Full disclosure: my passionista recipe is different. This is usually served with some kind of passionfruit/mango blend and I think that’s silly! Passionfruit is delicious and totally stands up on it’s own!

kcalIngredients
2 oz Tequila
2 oz Passionfruit Puree
1/2 oz Vanilla Syrup
1/2 oz Honey, or to taste
Ice
- Garnish Ideas
Mint Sprig
Passionfruit Wedge
Directions
- Add all ingredients into a cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously until shaker is ice cold (25 to 30 seconds).
- Fill glass with ice.
- Strain cocktail into glass.
- Garnish & Enjoy!
Notes
- Finding pure passionfruit puree isn’t always possible. Luckily, it’s easy to make your own.
For 1/4 cup Passionfruit Puree (just enough for the cocktail), whisk together:
– 1 to 2 ripe Passionfruits
– 1 tbsp Icing Sugar (to taste)
– 1/2 tbsp of Water
Remove or keep the seeds, it’s a personal preference. For the cocktail, they’ll end up strained out after shaking anyway so don’t bother doing so right now.
