I love my air fryer. I just got it this year but I just can’t stop making stuff in it.
I’m going to be honest, I’m not vegan. But, this year I set a challenge to eat 100% vegan one day a week. That’s a lot of vegan meals I’m going to have to come up with (unrelated tip: coconut yogurt is a lot more expensive than Greek yogurt but it’s delicious).
I don’t like to spend a lot of time cooking so I expect to use my Air Fryer for A LOT of my vegan meals this year. And so this list was born.

What Does it Mean to be Vegan?
I’m going to directly quote the Vegan Society because they say it best:
“Veganism is a way of living which seeks to exclude, as far as is possible and practicable, all forms of exploitation of, and cruelty to, animals for food, clothing or any other purpose.”
Basically, this means that ANYTHING that comes from an animal IN ANY WAY is to be avoided. That includes the obvious products like milk, eggs, and meat. But it also means no honey (because it’s exploiting bees), no wool or leather, no marshmallows or gelatin (comes from pigs), and countless other things.
Tools to Make Vegan Air Fryer Recipes
#1 – you’ll need an air fryer!
There are some accessories you can buy to go IN your air fryer. I highly recommend getting a shelf. I use it and I’m glad I have it. I don’t have any other accessories (although there are a couple that I’d like to get…)
Air fryers come in a variety of sizes and brands – choose the size that will work best for your meals. I have a T-fal Actifry and a little shelf to go in it and it works perfectly for my needs.
